Past RTS Bands take to the Splendour Stage

The Splendour in the Grass have unveiled their timetable and two of our past Rock the Schools bands have scored some great slots with Operator Please and 2010 band, Cassette Kids both performing

Friday night sees LCD Soundsystem, Ben Harper, Scissor Sisters, Grizzly Bear and Lisa Mitchell scoring the coveted nightime slots.

Saturday is headlined by The Strokes, Florence and the Machine, Wolfmother, Paul Kelly and Band of Horses, while Sunday wraps up with Pixies, Empire of the Sun, Mumford and Sons, Passion Pit and Richard Ashcroft and the United Nations of Sound.

The three night festival celebrates its tenth birthday this year and takes place from Friday July 30 – Sunday August 1 at its new location of Woodfordia in Woodforde, Queensland after nine years at Belongil Fields in Byron Bay below the border.
